Residential Tree Program
Trees planted on private property can help reduce a home’s cooling bill in the summer and increase property values. By working as a team and planting trees on both public and private property, the City and residents can help Cedar Rapids become a greener community. The Residential Tree Program is a partnership between the City of Cedar Rapids Forestry division and the Iowa DNR - Bureau of Forestry.
Trees are available to purchase for $30 each. Advance purchase is required and is limited to two trees per household to ensure that all residents have the opportunity to participate.Purchase Trees
