Conditional uses are those activities having some special impact or unique characteristic that requires a careful review of their location, design, configuration, and special impact to determine the desirability of permitting their establishment on any given site. They are uses that may or may not be appropriate in a particular location depending upon consideration in each case of the public need and benefit and the local impact and all within the context of the intent and purpose of the City's Zoning Ordinance. Activities that require a Conditional Use approval are listed in the zoning ordinance on Table 32.04-1. Community Development may require the applicant hold a public meeting to address any concerns.
